How were presenters selected?

APYD National Advisory Council and Conference Committee Members served as reviewers and evaluated proposals solely on the information provided in the proposal submission. Each proposal was reviewed carefully based on the following criteria:
  • Well defined, realistic learning outcomes that can be met in the time allotted and that align with the session design
  • Clear and leading-edge content that is appropriate and applicable to the proposed audience
  • Case studies, best practices and examples for a diverse audience
  • Up-to-date, innovative and replicable strategies
  • Potential for audience engagement and learning in an online or live environment

How can I stay connected to this work after the Conference?

All workshops, plenaries, live streamed events and conference materials will be recorded and available to conference participants through 2016. We will establish discussion areas and online networking events throughout the year to allow for ideas, strategies and concepts shared during the conference to continue beyond the week of events.
